  • Booking & payment Terms
      • Non-Refundable Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upfront to secure your slot and cover initial material costs.
      • Final Balance: The remaining 50% balance (plus shipping cost if required) is due upon your approval of the final digital preview.
      • Artwork Release: No physical artwork will be shipped until full payment is received.
  • Cancellation Policy
      • Before painting starts: you can cancel your order within 48 hours of making your deposit for a full refund.

  • Medium Characteristics
      • Watercolour is a transparent, fluid medium. The final piece is an artistic interpretation, not a digital photo clone, and may feature natural watercolour textures and bleeding.
  • Strict Revision Policy (Watercolour Special Rules):
      • Sketch approval phase: The Artist will send a photo of the initial pencil sketch. All major structural changes (e.g. ear shape, eye size, head angle) must be made and approved during this phase.
      • Painting Phase: Once watercolour paint is applied to the paper, structural changes and erasures are physically impossible.
      • Final Touch-ups: Upon completion, only minor changes at this stage (e.g. deepening a shadow or adding fine white gouache details for highlights) can be requested. Major changes at this stage will require a complete repaint at the clients expense.
  • Materials & Artwork Care
      • Professional Standards: The portrait will be painted using professional-grade watercolours on 100% professional cotton paper to ensure longevity.
      • Client Care Warning: Watercolour paint is highly sensitive to moisture and light. The client must frame the piece under glass and display it away from direct sunlight and high-humidity areas (like bathrooms) to prevent fading or warping.
  • Shipping & Transit Damage
      • Packaging: All artwork is packed flat inside a waterproof, acid-free, cello sleeve, sandwiched between heavy-duty, bend-proof rigid boards
      • Cost of Shipping: Will be communicated to the client upon final payment
  • Transit Damage: If the artwork arrives damaged, the Client must notify the Artist within 48 hours of delivery.
      • Evidence required: Clear photos of the damaged packaging and the artwork must be provided to arrange a replacement or solution.
      • Cash refunds will not be issued for postal damage.
  • Copyright & Usage Rights:
  • Artist Rights: The Artist retains full copyright of the artwork, including the right to post process videos on social media, display it on websites, and use it for promotional print. This is applicable even if cancelled after initial order.
  • Clients Rights: The Client receives ownership of the physical painting for personal use only. The Client may not scan, print, replicate or sell copies of the artwork for commercial profit.
